I built a workbench for the AI coding CLIs I already use
Description and use
Agent OS unifies AI coding CLIs into a single desktop workbench, providing structured sessions, result review, and controlled remote execution.
Problem
AI coding CLIs excel at writing code but struggle with session continuity, reviewability, and remote execution, making it hard to resume work and verify results.
Outcome
Agent OS unifies AI coding workflows, improving session continuity, reviewability, and controlled remote execution while preserving local context and knowledge.
Workflow
- Install Agent OS on local machine
- Authenticate existing AI CLI accounts
- Create a new session for a task
- Run AI commands via Agent OS panels
- Review execution events and compare attempts
- Approve or reject deliverables in Review state
- Schedule one‑off or cron jobs
- Optionally pair a remote Runtime node for controlled execution
Evidence
Agent OS works with Claude, Codex, Gemini, Cursor Agent, OpenCode, Pi, Hermes, and OpenClaw.
The user can inspect the available execution events, compare attempts, and decide whether the deliverable passes.
