I Built Super Macro — a Windows Tool for Custom Key Sequences, Timed Inputs, and Presets
Description and use
SuperMacro is a Windows tool that lets users build and manage keyboard and mouse automation workflows with precise timing, periodic keys, quick item pickup, chat macros, and presets, simplifying automation without scripting.
Problem
Users need a way to automate keyboard and mouse inputs with precise timing without writing scripts.
Outcome
SuperMacro provides fine‑grained control over input timing, supports periodic and hold‑to‑repeat actions, offers chat macro automation, and manages multiple presets, simplifying keyboard automation workflows.
Workflow
- Define a sequence of keyboard or mouse inputs in order.
- Set individual delays for each step.
- Choose run mode: continuous or repeat a set number of times.
- Assign start and stop hotkeys.
- Add up to 10 periodic key entries with independent intervals.
- Configure a quick item pickup key that sends repeated input while held, optionally pausing main sequence and periodic inputs.
- Set up chat macros with manual or automatic timing, including Enter → Text → Enter workflow and a minimum five‑second interval.
- Create, rename, duplicate, delete, search, and reorder presets via the Preset Manager.
- Switch between presets without rebuilding macros.
- Configure target‑program conditions to run only when a specific application is active.
- Set application settings such as theme, language, startup behavior, always‑on‑top, and update checking.
- Use the built‑in help page to learn how to start/stop macros and understand run modes.
- Download and install the Windows 10/11 (64bit) version from the provided link.
- Use responsibly and follow application/game rules.
Evidence
SuperMacro lets you build and manage keyboard and mouse automation workflows through a graphical interface.
Each step has its own delay, so you can fine‑tune timing rather than using a single fixed interval for everything.
SuperMacro supports up to 10 periodic key entries, each with its own interval, independently of the sequential macro.
There's also a Quick Item Pickup option: hold a configured key to repeatedly send another input at a chosen interval.
You can configure messages, choose manual hotkeys or automatic timing, and optionally use an Enter → Text → Enter workflow where appropriate.
The Preset Manager lets you create, rename, duplicate, delete, search, and reorder presets.
You can configure SuperMacro to run generally or use target‑program conditions—for example, only while a selected application is active.
I wanted the application to be approachable, so it includes an in‑app help page explaining how presets work, how to start and stop macros, and how the different run modes behave.
