Open‑source bilingual Bazi terminology DB and React chart component
Description and use
bazi‑kit separates terminology and rendering from calculation, enabling any engine’s data to be displayed in bilingual Bazi charts without rewriting UI.
Problem
Bazi software developers struggle with scattered terminology and tightly coupled chart UIs that depend on a single calculation engine, making it hard to reuse terminology or swap engines.
Outcome
Developers can now render bilingual Bazi charts from any calculation engine without rewriting UI code, improving maintainability and internationalization.
Workflow
- 1. Install bazi-terms and bazi-chart via npm.
- 2. Import and use bazi-terms to translate raw engine output or to normalize data.
- 3. Feed the normalized data or raw engine output into BaziChart component.
- 4. Configure language (zh, en, both) and theme (light/dark).
- 5. Render the chart; missing data sections are omitted automatically.
Evidence
bazi-kit never calculates anything. It takes chart data you already have and turns it into clean, bilingual, structured output or UI.
bazi-terms is a zero‑dependency, bilingual terminology database.
BaziChart auto‑detects the input shape, normalizes it, and renders — no calculation, no configuration ceremony.
