Shopify CSV to invoice PDFs — bulk orders export without a subscription

Description and use

Shopify merchants can locally generate bulk EU-ready PDF invoices from CSV order exports using a one‑time CLI tool, eliminating subscription costs.

Problem

Shopify does not provide bulk EU-ready invoice PDFs from order exports, and paid tools charge a subscription fee for this workflow.

Outcome

Bulk EU-ready invoice PDFs are generated locally from Shopify CSV exports without recurring costs, preserving data privacy.

Workflow

• Export orders from Shopify Admin → Orders → CSV
• Download the CLI tool (EUR 9 one‑time)
• Run the command: python3 shopify_batch.py shopify-sample.csv -o ./invoices/ --seller-name "Your Co"
• The tool maps Shopify columns to invoice fields and generates an HTML invoice for each order
• Convert each HTML to PDF (the tool does this automatically)
• Print or distribute the PDFs as needed
