Vibe coding left me with too many side projects. So I built one more.
Description and use
RepoAtlas streamlines managing scattered projects and AI conversations, enabling quick discovery, execution, and resumption of work.
Problem
Developers often start many side projects and lose track of them, making it hard to resume work and recall the context of AI-assisted coding sessions.
Outcome
RepoAtlas centralizes project discovery, command execution, and AI conversation management, reducing the friction of resuming side projects and keeping all data local without requiring an account.
Workflow
- Scan selected directories to discover projects
- Group related projects without moving folders
- Save and run dev, test, and build commands from the app
- View command output and history
- Search local AI conversation histories (Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode)
- Preview relevant messages
- Resume the selected session with the original AI agent
Evidence
RepoAtlas has an MCP integration so an external coding agent can help inventory approved directories and add project descriptions and reusable commands based on the actual files.
The app is built with Tauri + React and released under the MIT license.
Help with macOS builds, installation, session launching, and bug reports would be especially useful.
