MCP and Codex plugin
Use AtlasRepo MCP when a compatible client should query AtlasRepo during a task. The hosted endpoint is https://mcp.atlasrepo.com/mcp; the client completes OAuth rather than receiving a copied long-lived credential.
Install in Codex
Run the supported marketplace and plugin commands:
codex plugin marketplace add Arnon-hs/atlasrepo-mcp && codex plugin add atlasrepo@atlasrepo
Then enable the installed plugin in Codex and follow the OAuth connection prompt. Do not substitute an npm package command or paste an AtlasRepo API key into plugin configuration.
Connection model
- OAuth connections belong to the authenticated AtlasRepo user.
- The account endpoint returns only that user's connections.
- Scopes define granted capabilities; expiry defines the session lifetime.
- The returned quota is measured in requests over
windowSeconds; it is not automatically a monthly quota.
Review the client permission prompt and keep production actions under your normal approval and rollback process. AtlasRepo MCP supplies research context and supported tools; it does not make private service endpoints public.
